“I learnt how to read the Quran when a child, but then realized my pronunciations were not all correct. Attending the Language of the Quran classes has allowed me to learn the correct articulation of letters and immensely improved my reading. I feel more confident in my recitation now. With the teachers guidance I realize exactly where I need to improve; and once pinpointed and practiced by myself, I am able to quickly see improvement.

I recommend Language of the Quran courses not just because they are tailored to give us understanding of our religion, but also because the teacher is friendly, students are friendly, and classes are enjoyable and interactive. Well worth the money, time and effort!”     Rehana (A1 and A2 courses)

“I am really enjoying both the Arabic language and tajweed class. The teacher is great and easy to understand and work with. I have improved in my tajweed and it has made reading the Quran more exciting. Also gives me a sense of achievement, something I’ve wanted to do for a long time.”  Shaheen (A1 and A2 courses)

“Tajweed Class:

For many years, my siblings and I were taught to read the Qur’an but without any proper understanding or explanation of the rules. As I have gotten older, it became an issue for me that I was reading the Qur’an but not in the way it was revealed to our prophet Muhammad (saw). When I discovered this course being run locally and for such a price I jumped at the chance! There was an initial fear that people might laugh at me for my pronounciation, but during the first lesson, it became clear that all us girls were in exactly the same position and felt the same way. This course is great for sisters who are looking for a class that is fun, flexible and easy to follow. The teacher is great at making you feel comfortable and constantly ensures that we understand what we are learning. Teaching material is provided and the length of the lesson is long enough that one can learn and practise without getting bored!

Arabic Class:

We all know that if we read Qur’an, then there is reward in each letter read. But the reward is even greater if we read it with understanding and then apply what we learnt. And that is the reason why I joined to this course. Course materials are provided, classes are a nice size and the teacher is patient and able to communicate each lesson with understanding to the students. I am really pleased at how the lessons are progressing, from not knowing how to even say “this is a chair” to being able to sit there in class and read sentences without hesitance and to translate it, is an achievement for me. This is not to say the course is easy because it is not! But it is definitely rewarding especially if you put in the time and effort to learn vocabulary and the grammar rules.

I would recommend both courses together to sisters, because not only is it enjoyable, it is also good value for money AND fits around our work/home life which is great!” Sehir (A1 and A2 courses)

“I really like the classes, it is taught very well and I have learned a lot in the few lessons I have had. The only part I find hard is balancing everything as I work full-time but inshallah I will catch up. It is a wondeful opportunity to be in the class and I hope not to miss a single lesson. Jazakallah khayrun.”   Ruhana (A1 Beginners Arabic Language)
